The Mora Milk Paint Table Reveal

Remember the little table from yesterday?  Well it's all finished and I absolutely LOVE the way it turned out!!  What a change!

I used Miss Mustard Seed's Milk Paint in Mora.  My new favorite color!

Part of her European line, Mora is so soft and subtle.  Just what this little table needed.

I did a little free-handing around the drawer and knob to give it a some depth.

I distressed it back in spots then used her white wax to give it a beautiful white-washed look and a super smooth finish.

I just love the detail of those legs!

So, here it was in its found state...

....and here it is now!

So much better!

Have I said lately how much I love MMS Milk Paint?

'til next time!

    1. Thank you! Painting "true" antique is always a hard decision for me, but I think it did this one justice.

    1. Thank you for such a sweet comment, Jenny! :) The pictures do not do the color justice. I used the white wax on it and it has such a soft look. I did a small piece and used the furniture wax (post coming soon on that), and it took on a slightly different look...but still soooooo beautiful!

  5. This looks amazing! I am a big fan of MMS Milk Paint but haven't tried any of the colors in her European line yet. After seeing how great this piece turned out, I am inspired to utilize Mora on one of my future projects.

    1. This is the only color of the European line that I have tried, but I saw them at the class. Gorgeous! I love the muted colors and how they easily blend into most decors. I can't wait to see what you do!

Many, many times I will buy the most ugliest piece at auction - then be amused by the looks I get as I proudly walk out with my "prize...
